All We Didn’t Do: All We Didn't Do is a short documentary film about the great impact author/illustrator Mary Hallock Foote and her husband Arthur Foote had shaping local waterways, while living in a Stone House in the Canyon near what is now Lucky Peak Reservoir. Historical photographs used by permission from BSU Albertson's Library Nancy Rushforth Collection. Narrated by Stacey Guill and Rochelle Smith and directed by Rochelle Smith. (NR)
Freak Alley OG: Modern Boise, Idaho, is rich in Art and History. Much of what we enjoy today in our downtown streets was inspired by the Mural on the Record Exchange. Colby, the father of Freak Alley Gallery, and some young Skaters took to the walls and found a calling with support from Boise Arts and History. Directed by Erica Deshner Cornwall
When the Call Comes: When the Call Comes takes audiences behind the scenes with Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue, following the volunteers who answer the call when someone is lost, injured, or stranded in the wilderness. From K9 teams and drones to technical rescue, off-road vehicles, and boots on the ground, the film reveals the skill, teamwork, and dedication behind every mission—and the people willing to drop everything when the call comes. Troops and Soldiers: In partnership with the Treasure Valley Salvation Army Boise Corps, this short documentary highlights their inspiring TROOPS and SOLDIERS basketball program. The film explores the powerful role athletics can play in providing connection, mentorship, and opportunity for kids in underserved communities. Premiering at the Red Kettle Event in November 2022, the documentary helped raise nearly $100,000 in support of the Salvation Army’s work. In 2023, the film was recognized with a Treasure Valley Rockie Award. Written by Kristy Leight Lussier and Directed by Lee Vander Boegh. (NR)
